STRUCTURAL BIM COORDINATOR

Key Responsibilities

• Develop manage and coordinate structural BIM models in collaboration with engineers architects and other design professionals.
• Ensure adherence to project BIM plans industry standards (e.g. ISO 19650 and company BIM protocols.

• Lead clash detection and resolution processes using tools like Navisworks

• Collaborate with design teams to ensure structural integrity and constructability within BIM environments.

• Assist with the creation and management of Revit families templates and structural content libraries.

• Review audit and validate incoming and outgoing models for quality and compliance.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary model integration version control and issue tracking.

• Support project teams during all phases design documentation and construction.

• Mentor and provide technical support and training to junior staff and BIM technicians.

• Generate structural documentation drawings schedules and reports from BIM models.

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and actively contribute to resolving design issues.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering Civil Engineering Architecture or related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience working in a BIMrelated role in structural engineering.

• Proficiency in Revit (Structural) Navisworks AutoCAD and other BIMrelated software.

• Experience with Clash Detection BIM 360/ACC and model collaboration workflows.

• Knowledge of international BIM standards (e.g. ISO 19650 PAS 1192.

• Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methodologies.

• Excellent communication coordination and problemsolving skills

• Experience with parametric modeling Dynamo or visual scripting.

• Knowledge of cloudbased collaboration platforms (e.g. BIM 360 Revizto).

• Certification in BIM (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional etc) will be a plus
