Job Summary
- Develop update and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are aligned with approved schedules and milestones.
- Track project budgets commitments expenditures and forecasts to maintain effective cost control.
- Identify cost and schedule variances and provide recommendations to improve project performance.
- Support the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to measure project efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports dashboards KPI reports and management presentations.
- Assist project managers with forecasting planning resource allocation and performance analysis.
- Coordinate closely with engineering procurement construction and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide accurate project control information to stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and contribute to the development of mitigation and recovery plans.
- Support change management processes and evaluate the impact of project changes on cost and schedule.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures client requirements and project control standards.
- Guide and support junior team members while promoting best practices in project controls and cost management.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering Project Management Construction Management or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Cost Control Project Controls Planning or Scheduling within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning cost control budgeting forecasting and project performance measurement.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 Microsoft Project SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) project risk management and project lifecycle processes.
- Ability to analyse complex project data and present clear practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.
Candidates holding any of the following certifications will have an added advantage:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional)
- PRINCE2
- Earned Value Management (EVM) Certification
- PMI-SP
- AACE Certifications
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC engineering Strong knowledge of technical engineering estimation and operational works Hands-on experience with: VRF Systems Chilled Water Systems Good understanding of HVAC project execution and site coordination Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred
