Job Summary
The successful candidate will bring energy ideas and an appetite to bring fresh storytelling ideas to fruition. You will be excited by iPhone as a camera for the worlds most innovative photographers and film makers as a mobile studio for music producers using software like GarageBand for social content creators on Snapchat TikTok or for citizen journalists in urban centres. You will have more than an ear to the ground: you will be immersed in the Apple-enabled culture of photographers producers content creators influencers and role will report into CEMEA PR Lead. You will work in partnership to create strategies and deliver campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of products and their successful candidate will work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the activity that increases awareness and understanding. This includes other PR team Product Marketing and Marcom teams. You will help us to build new relationships amongst the talent and communities that use our products to deliver the worlds most exciting work and will be tasked with leading our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories. You will be responsible for providing local isights into media and social trends in Saudi which will help us to shape our strategy connect locally and deliver hyper local execution of market plans.
- Significant experience in public relations and influencer relations. This might include roles in PR agencies or corporate PR departments
- Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organisation.
- Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Analyses complex high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements expectations and needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Experience in media relations with an established network of media contacts in creative tech design and cultural platforms.
- Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact.
- Self-motivated possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
- Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions. Skilled in multi-tasking delivering under tight timelines adapting quickly to change.
