Mechanical Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a Mechanical Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in various construction projects throughout the city.

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing drainage fire protection and water supply to ensure compliance with contract documents specifications and building codes.
• Coordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors.
• Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals taking necessary actions as required.
• Read and interpret package contract documents detailed drawings and specifications including any associated updates.
• Monitor and document contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis.
• Perform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Prepare detailed reports on observed activities including personnel equipment location and methods utilized.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and site safety measures.
• Conduct site measurements and surveying checks as needed.
• Report on any violations of health and safety regulations in construction works.

Qualifications :

• Diploma in Engineering required; related degree in Engineering fields preferred for career progression
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy focusing on mechanical systems
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical methodologies including HVAC plumbing drainage fire protection and water supply systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings specifications and building codes
• Strong understanding of construction techniques and installation processes
• Experience with various building types particularly high-rise mixed-use residential and commercial retail and hospitality projects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise reports in English
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures in construction
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
• Willingness to work on-site in various locations throughout Riyadh Saudi Arabia
