Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineer - Design to join our engineering team in Riyadh Saudi this role you will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing mechanical components and systems. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into functional designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturing feasibility.

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings using CAD software ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering specifications
  • Conduct design analysis and simulations to evaluate performance stress and durability of mechanical components
  • Analyze design requirements and translate them into comprehensive design solutions that meet functional and operational objectives
  • Collaborate with manufacturing quality and product teams to ensure designs are feasible cost-effective and aligned with production capabilities
  • Perform material selection and analysis to optimize component performance and manufacturing efficiency
  • Document design modifications and maintain organized design files and project records
  • Review and validate designs against industry standards codes and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Support prototyping and testing phases by providing design guidance and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure all design files are properly archived and version-controlled

Qualifications :

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical drawings and design documentation
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skill set with attention to detail
  • Experience with material selection and understanding of material properties
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality requirements (ISO ASME or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and design simulation software
  • Background in design optimization and performance analysis
  • Experience in automotive aerospace industrial equipment or related industries
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
  • Experience with 3D modeling and advanced CAD techniques
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and design verification processes
