Construction Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead day-to-day site execution of the Terminal 6 Substructure Works at King Salman International Airport (KSIA) Riyadh. This role sits at the heart of a fast-paced multi-front construction programme covering mass earthworks backfilling to access ramps and elevated platforms below-slab drainage services and earthing works and the full scope of reinforced concrete substructure elements including pad foundations core bases basement slabs basement walls ground beams strip footings and the Level 00 slab. You will be responsible for translating the project programme and technical requirements into safe efficient and on-schedule delivery on the ground managing subcontractors direct labour plant and materials across simultaneous work fronts spanning the terminals alternating garden and processor blocks. The role requires strong command of construction sequencing and strict adherence to designated no-build zones given the need to coordinate with adjoining contractors mobilizing cranes and heavy machinery on adjacent packages. You will chair regular site progress meetings work closely with Planning QA/QC and HSE teams to resolve site constraints in real time and escalate emerging risks to the Project Manager before they affect programme or cost. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on constrained high-tempo sites and has a track record of driving productivity without compromising on quality or safety standards on major civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site execution of earthworks drainage RC substructure works and waterproofing
• Coordinate subcontractors labor plant and materials across multiple work fronts
• Enforce construction sequencing no-build zones and interfaces with adjoining contractors
• Ensure works comply with drawings specifications and method statements
• Drive productivity resolve site constraints and escalate risks to the Project Manager
• Chair site progress meetings and coordinate with Planning QA/QC and HSE

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years experience in construction management on major civil/building projects
• Strong hands-on experience with substructure earthworks and RC works
• Airport or large infrastructure project experience preferred
• Solid understanding of site logistics on constrained multi-package sites
