Primary objective

The construction coordinator is the focal point within the Contract team for all construction matters.

Specific Accountabilities

• Responsible for ensuring construction input into the design by way of constructability reviews
• Coordinates with Procurement function to establish material delivery requirements and ROS dates.
• Coordinates with the Controls function in the development of Construction and Installation Schedules.
• Assists in determining appropriate construction contracting strategies.
• Assists in preparation of Construction Contracts.
• Assist in Construction Contractor Prequalification
• Identification and line supervision of Construction Superintendents and Construction Supervisors.
• Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
• Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project.

Technical and Industry Experience

• Effective technical and practicalsafety & risk design and drafting skills ability to consistently deliver quality accurate and timely work to WorleyParsons and its clients.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Competent skills in design software.
• Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
