Cloud Architect OpenShift (Saudi National)

About the Job:

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Architect with strong OpenShift experience to join us in our Riyadhs Office KSA.

In this role you will work as a subject-matter expert in Red Hats infrastructure and cloud technology.

Youll answer questions about best practices around automation reliability scalability maintainability high availability and failover setups and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hats technology that delivers freedom flexibility and outstanding performance.

You will gain an understanding of our customers infrastructures and business issues and you will make recommendations appropriate to their environments. This is a great opportunity to build on your core base of knowledge and work in a fast-paced environment promoting Red Hats solutions.

What you will do:

• Win the confidence of our customers through the successful delivery of discovery analysis and design workshops that shape and influence the customers architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.

• Lead consulting teams through successful customer pilot and production deployments workload onboarding and ongoing lifecycle management

• Work closely with product business units product engineering consulting support and sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hats products.

• Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hats services capabilities promote repeatable customer engagements and lower delivery risk.
  

What you will bring:

• Prior experience working in consulting and architecture roles

• Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions

• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on hands-on delivery and architecture levels

• Experience implementing virtualization and container technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments

• Knowledge of Red Hats infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

• Experience onboarding applications and application teams onto cloud or container platforms introducing DevOps continuous delivery (CD) and application lifecycle management

• Excellent written and verbal language skills in English

• Willingness to travel across the region up to 100%

The following is considered a plus:

• Red Hat Certifications are considered a plus

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization is considered a big plus
