Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a range of accounting tasks to support our company s financial operations ensuring compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Process invoices payments and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax filings in compliance with local laws.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Suggest and implement enhancements to accounting procedures and systems.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
1-3 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Tally or Zoho Books).
Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables VLOOKUP formulas).
Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and principles.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
Professional certifications (e.g. CPA CMA or ACCA) are a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
