Job Summary

Zenysis is a global technology company that partners with governments and international organizations to strengthen health systems through advanced data integration and analytics. Tasks

Consultancy Description:

The Rwanda Growth and Partnerships Consultant will support Zenysis growth strategic partnerships and market positioning in Rwanda. The consultant will maintain consistent engagement with government stakeholders donors implementing partners and other decision-makers to identify new opportunities strengthen Zenysis relationships and advance priority opportunities toward funding and contract award.

The role is designed to provide dedicated local Growth capacity alongside Zenysis Rwanda Delivery team. The consultant will focus on progressing priority opportunities strengthening strategic relationships and providing market intelligence that informs Zenysis growth strategy. He/Shewill work closely with country regional and global leadership to ensure that opportunities and relationships receive continuous follow-up government priorities are understood early and Zenysis is positioned as a trusted technical partner across digital health data analytics artificial intelligence health financing and other areas aligned with national priorities.

The role may also provide targeted support to current implementation activities where doing so strengthens stakeholder relationships accelerates project execution or creates pathways for expansion.

Candidates must be based in Rwanda with preference given to qualified Rwandan nationals.

Essential Functions:

1. Opportunity Conversion & Deal Progression (55%)

  • Take ownership of day-to-day progression of priority Rwanda opportunities from identification through qualification scoping proposal development contracting and booking.
  • Identify bottlenecks preventing opportunities from progressing and proactively work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Maintain persistent follow-up with government counterparts donors partners and internal teams to ensure agreed actions move forward.
  • Coordinate the inputs required from Growth Delivery Product Finance and leadership to keep opportunities progressing.
  • Support development of concept notes proposals presentations budgets briefing materials and other inputs required to move opportunities toward award.
  • Track clear next steps owners timelines and dependencies for each priority opportunity and escalate issues when progress stalls.
  • Support commercial positioning and engagement strategy for priority opportunities.
  • Drive opportunities toward concrete outcomes with particular focus on converting active pipelines into signed contracts and bookings.

2. Lead Identification & Pipeline Development (35%)

  • Proactively identify and originate new business opportunities across government donors implementing partners and other relevant institutions in Rwanda.
  • Maintain close visibility into government priorities funding discussions procurement processes and emerging areas where Zenysis could add value.
  • Build and maintain a strong network across the MoH RBC NHIC donors implementing partners and other decision-makers to identify opportunities early.
  • Translate stakeholder needs and market intelligence into concrete leads that can be assessed and advanced by the Growth team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date view of the Rwanda pipeline including new leads decision-makers opportunity value funding pathways and next steps.
  • Surface new opportunities across priority areas including Gates GFF NHIC AskAI Rwanda FDA Ministry of Youth and Arts RBC and other government priorities.

3. Growth Coordination & Team Enablement (10%)

  • Serve as the primary Rwanda Growth coordination point across core growth team members and the broader Growth team.
  • Take ownership of routine follow-up stakeholder coordination meeting preparation and pipeline actions that currently fall across multiple team members.
  • Ensure senior team members are brought into opportunities at the right moments with clear context objectives and required decisions.
  • Prepare internal teams for important stakeholder meetings and ensure actions are followed through immediately afterward.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records including stakeholder engagement opportunity status risks and next steps.
  • Help connect insights from current implementation with potential extensions new use cases and broader commercial opportunities.
  • Reduce the Growth-related administrative and coordination burden on Delivery staff so they can remain focused on project execution.
Requirements

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic partnership management consulting or business development
  • Proven track record in engaging government institutions donors and development partners and successfully managing relationships at senior leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage relationships follow-up consistently and move multiple workstreams forward.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to proposal development (technical and cost) business growth or scaling programs preferably in the digital health data analytics or international development sectors.
  • Strong understanding of health systems digital health platforms or data-driven decision-making in multi-stakeholder contexts.

Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in Public Health International Development Business Administration International Relations Data Science Digital Health or a related field.
  • Additional training or demonstrated experience in business development partnerships stakeholder management or business growth is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strategic partnership management and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
  • Strong follow-through and execution; able to keep opportunities moving without extensive supervision.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and translate conversations into clear next steps and actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including preparing concise proposals concept notes presentations and briefing materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across delivery growth and operations teams with strong judgment on when to escalate issues and seek leadership input
  • Excellent communication negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in data-informed decision-making.
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms (Excel SQL PowerBI) and digital health systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or other regional languages is an advantage.

This is a part-time consulting role estimated at approximately 10 days per month with a daily rate of USD $120$150 (paid in local currency equivalent) depending on experience. Candidates must be based in Zenysis Technologies as a Growth and Partnerships Consultant in Rwanda.
