Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer (FM)

This position is designed for experienced Continuous Improvement professionals who want to drive operational excellence and Lean transformation across manufacturing and support functions. The role combines hands-on project leadership data-driven problem solving stakeholder management and coaching with a strong focus on delivering sustainable business results.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Continuous Improvement and Lean projects across manufacturing and support functions

• Drive Lean transformation initiatives process optimization and standardization efforts

• Facilitate Kaizen workshops structured problem-solving sessions and improvement activities

• Coach leaders engineers and operational teams in Continuous Improvement methodologies and Lean principles

• Analyse performance indicators and process data to identify improvement opportunities and root causes

• Develop and implement sustainable improvement roadmaps aligned with business and operational priorities

• Lead value stream optimization and end-to-end process improvement initiatives

• Establish and monitor project KPIs benefits and sustainability of implemented improvements

• Support the identification and implementation of best practices across functions and sites

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement problem solving and operational ownership across the organization

• Support the development of CI capabilities through training coaching and knowledge sharing

Profile

• Several years of professional experience in Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing Operational Excellence or a related field

• University degree in Engineering Business Administration Economics Management or a related field

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Kaizen Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies

• Proven track record of leading and delivering improvement projects with measurable business results

• Experience in facilitating workshops and engaging cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to influence and coach others without direct authority

• Structured proactive and results-oriented way of working

• Good MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint

• English language proficiency

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

• Experience in automotive or other manufacturing environments

• Experience with OEE productivity cycle time capacity or value stream analysis

• Experience with digitalisation data analytics or process performance tools

• Experience leading cross-functional projects

• Experience in developing and delivering Lean / Continuous Improvement training
