Project Developer

We are looking for a Project Developer to join our Romanian team and support the development of renewable energy projects with a focus on solar PV and BESS.

The role will cover the full development lifecycle from early-stage development through permitting grid connection technical coordination and handover to construction.

What will your day-to-day look like

• Coordinate the development of renewable energy projects in Romania ensuring progress across permitting grid technical legal and financial workstreams.
• Manage key project milestones timelines budgets risks and development assumptions.
• Coordinate with engineering firms consultants legal advisors landowners suppliers public authorities and grid operators.
• Review technical documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations grid requirements and internal standards.
• Identify technical regulatory permitting or grid-related risks and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Work closely with internal teams including Engineering Legal Finance Construction and Business Development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 45 years of experience in renewable energy project development project management or technical coordination in Romania.
• Experience with solar PV wind or BESS projects. BESS experience will be highly valued.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering Energy Engineering or a related field.
• Experience managing external stakeholders such as consultants authorities landowners suppliers or grid operators.
• Understanding of permitting grid connection technical studies and project development milestones as well as project budgets financial assumptions and basic investment indicators.
• Fluency in Romanian and English. Spanish would me a nice-to-have.

We are looking for a hands-on profile with strong coordination skills able to anticipate risks manage multiple stakeholders and move projects forward in a structured way.
