What Youll Do

• Manage timely and efficient purchasing of metallic raw materials (e.g. scrap)
• Identify and engage new suppliers across the European market
• Analyze and optimize the procurement process to improve quality reduce costs and enhance compliance
• Support internal stakeholders by verifying technical specifications and sharing market insights
• Track and report key metrics to support informed decision-making
• Ensure contract execution and coordinate optimal logistics (land sea or air)
• Conduct supplier visits and manage long-term procurement partnerships

Your Profile

• Degree: Economics Engineering or related field
• Driving License: Category B required
• Languages: Advanced English Advanced Italian is a must
• Skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel) data analysis procurement tools
• Mobility: Willingness to travel to Italy Dalmine at least 1 week / month

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement purchasing sourcing commodity trading sales or supplier management.
• Experience in industrial sectors such as steel metals recycling raw materials manufacturing logistics or other B2B environments.
• Proven experience managing commercial relationships and negotiating with suppliers.
