The Opportunity

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications across the full stack leveraging modern frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Write secure maintainable high-quality code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes and contribute to technical design decisions for scalable issuing payment solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot Claude Code) to boost your productivity and code quality.
• Share knowledge with the team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on feature development and system improvements.
• Optimize performance security and cloud cost efficiency of applications.

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change step up and show whats next people with passion can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and practice this means:

• Degree in scientific fields 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid frontend experience with at least one modern framework (Angular React or ).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes REST MySQL PostgreSQL and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot Claude Code) in day-to-day development.
• Strong solution design and analytical skills; Scrum experience is a plus.
• Experience in the payments industry including credit card schemes (VISA Mastercard) and the credit card lifecycle is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly across international environments.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and an innovation focus.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1); additional languages (French German Italian) are appreciated.
