Your impact

You will be the driving force behind Mollies expansion into the Romanian market. As one of our first dedicated Business Development Representatives for Romania youll have the unique opportunity to introduce our world-class payment solutions to a high-growth region. You arent just selling a product; you are building Mollies reputation from the ground up helping local SMEs and mid-market merchants ditch financial bureaucracy and scale faster.

This is a high-autonomy hunter role where your local expertise and network will be your greatest assets. Working as part of our expanding CEE team youll identify high-potential opportunities navigate the local e-commerce landscape and position Mollie as the preferred partner for ambitious Romanian businesses. If you thrive in entrepreneurial environments and want to own the success of an entire market this is your lane.

What youll ship

• Own the full sales cycle for Romania from prospecting and discovery through pitching to closing new business

• Build and grow a consistent outbound pipeline through structured prospecting across phone email and LinkedIn

• Run discovery calls to qualify potential customers uncovering pain points and fit before advancing opportunities

• Pitch Mollies payment solutions and negotiate deals through to close with Romanian merchants

• Keep accurate CRM records and pipeline data so forecasting and next steps stay transparent

• Share market and customer feedback with local and central teams to help sharpen our approach in Romania

• Hit activity pipeline and closing targets that lay the groundwork for Mollies presence in the region

What youll bring

• At least 2 years of experience in full cycle end-to-end B2B sales (prospecting pitching and closing) as a hunter ideally in SaaS or e-commerce fintech experience is a plus

• Comfort working towards pipeline and activity KPIs with strong organisational and CRM discipline

• Skill in prospecting and running structured discovery conversations across phone email and LinkedIn

• Fluency in English and Romanian

• Strong communication stakeholder management and presentation skills with the ability to build trust quickly with prospects
