Job Summary

Perform oxy-fuel torch cutting of metal components according to work instructions and specifications.

Cut steel plates structural members pipes and other metal materials accurately and safely.

Prepare materials for fabrication repair maintenance or disposal.

Inspect cutting equipment before use and ensure it is in safe working condition.

Maintain clean and perform basic maintenance of cutting torches hoses regulators and related equipment.

Ensure proper handling storage and transportation of gas cylinders and cutting equipment.

Follow approved hot work procedures permit requirements and safety regulations.

Maintain high-quality cutting standards while minimizing material waste.

Keep the work area clean and free from fire hazards.

Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Report defective equipment unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

Comply with all company client and HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Torch Cutter in industrial warehouse construction maintenance or heavy equipment environments.

Ability to operate oxy-fuel (oxy-acetylene) cutting equipment safely and efficiently.

Experience cutting structural steel pipes plates scrap metal and heavy equipment components.

Ability to read work instructions drawings and cutting specifications.

Good knowledge of metal cutting techniques and equipment maintenance.

Familiarity with safe handling and storage of compressed gas cylinders.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures hot work permits and fire prevention requirements.

Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.

Basic communication skills in English.

Required Skills:
