TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER OFFICE RELOCATION
Job Summary
Role Summary
This role owns end-to-end management of the IT workstream for office relocation combining hands-on technical leadership with programme governance. The successful candidate integrates IT delivery into the wider construction programme and ensures a clean fully documented building cutover.
Key Responsibilities
The role spans nine technical and governance domains:
Network & Connectivity structured cabling IDF/MDF readiness network switching wireless design ISP coordination redundancy planning.
IDF/MDF Rooms rack layout and capacity planning UPS and power cooling environmental monitoring access control fire suppression.
IT Security Controls CCTV physical access control security integrations cybersecurity baseline implementation.
End-User Technology desktop and laptop deployment printer deployment meeting-room AV IP telephony guest Wi-Fi.
Smart Building Integration BMS networking IoT connectivity facility subsystem integration Digital Twin readiness.
Business Continuity & Resilience DR/BCP planning backup connectivity UPS and generator validation.
Compliance & Standards architecture standards Qatar regulatory compliance telecom and building standards.
Documentation & Handover as-built documentation asset inventory vendor warranties change records.
Project Governance integration of IT milestones into the construction programme vendor coordination IT risk and issue management.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 7 years experience delivering IT infrastructure programmes.
- Experience leading IT workstreams for office relocations or new building fit-outs.
- Strong expertise across network infrastructure IDF/MDF design physical IT security DR/BCP planning and vendor handover/documentation.
Preferred / Advantageous
- Familiarity with Qatar regulatory telecom and building standards.
