Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Carry out cleaning blasting and priming of surfaces prior to coating application.
  

• Coating Application: Apply protective coatings using brush roller or spray methods in line with project specifications.
  

• Quality Control: Ensure coating thickness curing and finish meet ASTM and project standards.
  

• Maintenance: Perform touch-ups and maintenance painting to prevent corrosion and extend equipment life.
  

• Safety Compliance: Follow offshore HSE standards PPE requirements and permit-to-work systems during painting operations.
  

• Documentation: Record paint usage inspection results and maintain coating logs.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 35 years of offshore painting/coating experience.
  

• Strong knowledge of surface preparation coating systems and offshore corrosion control.
  

• Ability to read and follow coating specifications and QA/QC procedures.
  

• Familiarity with ASTM and NOC coating standards.

• ASTM D4228 Painter Qualification Standard
  

• BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
  

• Basic H2S Training
