Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and familiarise with lathe radial drilling machine milling machine and surface grinding machine.
Perform independent work on machining drilling milling and related workshop activities.
Complete assigned workshop tasks within the defined scope of responsibility in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment related to the trade and report incidents malfunctions or potential hazards immediately.
Read and interpret machine diagrams manuals and drawings to facilitate task execution.
Adhere to the company s QHSSE policies and maintain workplace safety standards.
Carry out other related tasks as assigned by superiors.
Working Conditions:
Working Hours: 12 hours per day (including 1-hour lunch break).
Duty Days: 6 days per week (1 day weekly off).
Overtime: Additional working hours will be charged as per the timesheet signed by Engineer and considered as normal working hours.
Requirements:
Proven hands-on experience as a Machinist in plant maintenance or mechanical workshops.
Strong knowledge of lathe drilling milling and grinding machines.
Ability to work independently and interpret technical drawings.
Good safety awareness and adherence to QHSSE standards.
Physically fit and capable of working long hours.
