Legal Counsel

Our client in the real estate sector a semi-govt entity is looking to hire for a Legal Counsel .

• Bachelors degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent) preferably from a recognized Arabic university.
• LL.M. or masters degree in law from a recognized university in the UK or USA is preferred.

• Qualified lawyer with 3 - 5 years of post-qualification legal experience (PQE).

• Preferably trained and gained substantive experience within a reputable law firm.

• Preferably with previous legal experience in Qatar is preferred with familiarity with the Qatari legal and regulatory environment.

• Fully bilingual in Arabic and English with excellent written and spoken proficiency in both languages.

• Strong legal drafting contract review legal research and analytical skills in both Arabic and English.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently high-quality legal work.

• Strong sense of ownership responsibility and accountability for assigned matters.

• Hard-working dedicated and proactive with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage several matters and competing priorities simultaneously.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet agreed deadlines and timeframes.

• Commercially minded and able to provide practical business-focused legal advice.
