Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Document Controller to join our Roads Operations & Maintenance team in Doha this crucial role you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project-related documentation ensuring compliance with quality standards and facilitating efficient information flow across the organization.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive document control system for all project-related documentation
- Implement and oversee document control procedures ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage the receipt distribution and filing of all project documents including drawings specifications and reports
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and proper versioning of documents
- Perform regular quality checks on documentation to maintain accuracy and completeness
- Utilize document management software to track store and retrieve project information efficiently
- Generate reports on document status revisions and distribution for project management and stakeholders
- Train and guide team members on document control processes and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve document management workflows and systems
- Ensure proper archiving and retention of project documents in compliance with legal and contractual requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control preferably in roads operations and maintenance or similar infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of database management and filing systems
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and industry standards
- Experience with project documentation in construction or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of roads operations and maintenance processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with engineering and construction documentation is a plus
