Document Controller EDMS
Job Summary
- Manage control and maintain all project documents drawings correspondence transmittals reports and technical records through the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Ensure documents are properly registered numbered classified reviewed distributed archived and maintained according to project document control procedures and client requirements.
- Coordinate document submissions and approvals between engineering teams project management contractors consultants vendors and clients while maintaining accurate document status and revision records.
- Monitor document workflows overdue reviews approvals revisions and transmittals and generate regular document control reports registers trackers and status updates.
- Maintain confidentiality document traceability revision control and proper electronic and physical filing systems while supporting project audits handover documentation and final dossier preparation.
- Minimum 57 years of Document Control experience preferably within Oil & Gas Engineering Construction Infrastructure or EPC projects in Qatar.
- Strong hands-on experience with EDMS platforms such as Aconex SharePoint Documentum OpenText Asite ProArc or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of document numbering revision control transmittals MDR/document registers workflows technical drawings correspondence archiving and project handover documentation.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word with strong communication coordination attention to detail and the ability to handle high volumes of project documentation accurately
