Job Summary
Set up and maintain document control systems for project documentation.
Receive log and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents including drawings submittals contracts specifications and reports.
Ensure document numbering system is adhered to and document templates are used correctly.
Track revisions of documents and ensure that only the latest versions are in use.
Maintain document registers and logs accurately.
Coordinate with project engineers consultants subcontractors and suppliers to obtain required documentation.
Archive documentation upon project completion in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Ensure confidentiality security and proper backup of all project documentation.
Assist in audits and inspections by providing requested documentation promptly.
Support QA/QC team by controlling quality documentation including inspection reports and test certificates.
Provide training or guidance to team members on document control procedures when needed.
Education & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in document control preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
Should have experience in fit-out (Mandatory)
Arabic Speaking is mandatory.
Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and document control software (e.g. Aconex Procore SharePoint EDMS etc.).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with construction documents project lifecycles and technical terminology.
Education & Experience:
