Automotive Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in IC vehicles and NEVs.
• Inspect test repair and replace vehicle wiring harnesses connectors and electrical circuits.
• Perform maintenance and repair of electrical systems including alternators starters batteries sensors and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to ECUs control modules and vehicle communication networks.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve electrical system faults.
• Interpret and analyze electrical schematics wiring diagrams and circuit layouts.
• Work safely on high-voltage systems in electric and hybrid vehicles following industry safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair Battery Management System (BMS) faults and ensure proper battery performance.
• Inspect troubleshoot and maintain NEV charging systems inverters converters and power distribution units.
• Support repairs and maintenance of electric powertrains regenerative braking systems and related components.
• Perform ECU troubleshooting programming calibration and software updates as required.
• Conduct functional testing after repairs to verify system performance and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate service records diagnostic reports and repair documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines during all repair activities.
