Job Summary

Summary

The Associate Engineer applies technical engineering knowledge and an understanding of business objectives and manufacturing operations to support activities within a specific manufacturing engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Support and take ownership of manufacturing engineering technical tasks that may involve multiple inter-coordinating elements.
  • Apply engineering principles to manufacturing operations and technical assignments.
  • Anticipate and identify technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Apply creative problem-solving approaches when established methods or precedents may not exist.
  • Evaluate the potential impact of technical solutions on other systems processes or components.
  • Participate in technical peer reviews to confirm engineering approaches and project direction.
  • Support verification and validation activities and associated technical reviews.
  • Collaborate with peers mentors manufacturing personnel and cross-functional teams.
  • Support manufacturing objectives while maintaining applicable engineering and operational requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Software Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 02 years of experience in an engineering discipline; advanced education may be considered toward the required level of skill.
  • Understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with peers mentors and cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to verification and validation activities preferred.
  • Ability to manage technical assignments with increasing levels of ownership and independence.
  • Must be willing and available to work 2nd Shift on-site in Caguas.
