Position: Scrum Master

Location:Oporto or Lisbon- Hybrid

Job Summary: We are seeking for a Senior Scrum Master for a team responsible for acomplete mobile solution for Android/IOS with intention to enforce security of your online payments by a process of Authentication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives and reviews ensuring that all team members are engaged and productive;
• Team Support: Remove impediments creating conditions for the team to become more effective;
• Coaching and Mentoring: Guide team members in Agile principles and practices promoting self-organization and accountability within the team;
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the IT team and stakeholders ensuring clear communication of project status risks and requirements in both French and English;
• Performance Metrics: Track and report on team performance metrics helping to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity;
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine Agile processes to align with best practices adapting them to meet the teams unique needs;
• Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and facilitate discussions to ensure a harmonious team environment addressing any issues that may hinder team performance;
  
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation related to Agile processes sprint goals and team progress ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
• A certification in Agile methodologies (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is preferred.
• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with a proven track record of managing Agile teams in the software development field preferably within the payments or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles frameworks and practices with hands-on experience applying them in complex environments.
• Excellent facilitation coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to influence and motivate team members effectively.
• Experience working in an international environment and ability to manage virtual teams across different time zones.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a focus on team success.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence Trello) is a plus.
