Position:Senior DevOps Engineer

Location:Lisbon or Oporto /Hybrid

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes to design administer automate and optimize containerized environments. The role involves managing CI/CD and GitOps pipelines implementing Infrastructure as Code supporting development teams with application onboarding and ensuring platform performance observability and security through DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design deploy administer and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI Tekton and ArgoCD.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Ansible and Helm.
• Support development teams with application onboarding and promote Cloud-Native best practices.
• Implement and optimize monitoring logging and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus Grafana and ELK.
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines including vulnerability scanning secrets management RBAC and network policies.
• Troubleshoot platform and infrastructure issues and ensure high availability and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate new technologies and architectures.
• Promote knowledge sharing and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps with strong experience in containerized environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes including administration security operators and routing.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with ArgoCD GitLab CI Jenkins or similar CI/CD and GitOps tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux networking and IT security.
• Scripting skills in Python Bash or Go.
• Experience with AWS Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures is valued.
• Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications such as EX280 EX288 CKA or CKAD are a plus.
• Fluent/native French is required.
• Strong communication autonomy problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
• Comfortable working in an Agile and collaborative environment.
