THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to perform duties as a Senior Data WharehouseEngineerfor a internacional project in theBankingsector.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Designing and developing data models ETL pipelines and data integration processes in Databricks by integrating data from various sources (databases APIs streaming platforms etc.)
- Ensuring every DWH process precision efficiency and scalability through monitoring tuning and optimizing the platform.
- Help expanding data models of our Data Warehouse.
- Implement data quality checks monitoring and governance standards.
- Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational Strategic & Analytical).
- Define and implement best practices guidelines and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality.
- Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed data-driven decisions.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment.
- Proven professional experience with Databricks for designing implementing and optimizing ETL processes with big amounts of data.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing data lakes and Modern DWH architecture (incl Medallion Architecture).
- Public Cloud experience (great understanding of Compute Storage Networking Identity etc).
- Experience in building using and optimizing agents/skills for the modern LLMs (Claude/Copilot are preferred).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines Git and DevOps practices.
- Strong expertise with SQL Server and performance optimization.
- Experience with PostgreSQL is strong differentiation point.
- Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards and in writing complex DAX statements.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish language knowledge is a big plus.
