What will you do
Join a global agile development team focused on building next-generation solutions supporting risk management financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance. You will design develop and manage large-scale data processing and storage solutions that enable data-driven decision making and strategic business initiatives. Working closely with engineers architects analysts and data scientists you will deliver scalable big data solutions while maintaining high engineering standards and code quality.
Your tasks
- Work with Product Owners and IT Analysts to understand business and stakeholder requirements
- Build and manage data processing components and storage technologies
- Onboard new data sources and develop scalable data processing pipelines
- Support application teams by delivering data views and datasets
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionise analytical solutions
- Follow continuous integration and test-driven development practices
- Ensure high code quality and compliance with development standards
- Validate technical solutions together with Architects
- Perform unit testing and support quality assurance activities
- Collaborate effectively within a global agile team
Your skills
- Practical experience with Apache Spark
- Strong programming skills in Java or Scala
- Experience with Big Data processing technologies
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Knowledge of software development best practices
- Strong communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache Hadoop (Yarn HDFS)
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience in Python
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Practical knowledge of Maven
- Practical knowledge of Git
- Experience working in Agile environments
