Space Strategist | EMEA
Job Summary
The Space Strategist bridges occupancy data and strategic decision-making. They translate portfolio information and utilization insights into actionable space strategies that support business goals long-range planning and the adoption of future workplace models.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting occupancy and utilization analysis to inform space efficiency and right-sizing.
- Developing scenarios and feasibility plans for consolidations expansions and capital projects.
- Using Planon and Colliers360 dashboards to identify trends model future demand and present recommendations.
- Supporting flex seating strategies workplace design principles and change enablement related to space use.
- Partnering closely with Workplace Strategy PMO and Workplace Operations to align portfolio planning with business needs and workplace vision.
Core competencies:
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret data into meaningful planning and business outcomes.
- Space & Occupancy Planning Expertise: Skilled in test fits adjacency planning needs assessment and scenario development.
- Utilization & Forecast Modelling: Proficiency in leveraging dashboards and predictive data for demand planning.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Confident working with business leaders translating requirements into actionable plans.
- Workplace Design Literacy: Understanding of design standards workplace typologies and employee experience drivers.
- Technology Fluency: Comfortable using IWMS and BI tools as inputs for planning rather than for direct data management.
Our requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a similar client-facing role.
- Experience in office space planning.
- Experience with IWMS systems and BI tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and the client.
- Exceptional organisational skills ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Nice to have: experience working with AutoCAD.
