QA Engineer

We are hiring on behalf of our client a global leader in HR technology delivering an end-to-end SaaS platform that supports the entire recruitment lifecycle. We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the Technical Services Product Engineering team which supports internal applications dashboards and automation tools for global Customer Experience teams. You will focus on building and maintaining automated test solutions while also using exploratory testing to uncover issues that automated tests may miss. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong technical mindset who enjoys automation troubleshooting and exploring how AI-powered tools can make testing faster and more effective.

Salary: 13 000 PLN - 17 000 PLN gross on the Contract of Employment

Working model: hybrid - 3x weekly from the office

Location: Krakow

Recruitment process:

• Hiring Manager Interview (30 min)
• Technical Interview (90 min)

• Develop and maintain automated test suites regression tests and automation frameworks for internal applications.
• Support continuous delivery by collaborating with engineering teams on effective testing strategies and reliable test environments.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing to identify edge cases and issues that automated tests may miss.
• Use AI coding agents to automate repetitive test scenarios and improve testing efficiency.
• Investigate and document bugs in JIRA and Xray going beyond symptoms to identify potential root causes.
• Work closely with developers and internal users throughout the development lifecycle providing early feedback and helping ensure new features meet quality standards..

• 2 years of professional experience in software testing QA engineering software development or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript JavaScript and Java.
• Experience with UI test automation tools (like Selenium WebdriverIO etc) Page Object Model (POM).
• Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA and Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and test management tools such as Xray.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious and hands-on approach to investigating technical issues.
• A strong technical mindset with an understanding of software logic data structures and complex applications.
• Interest in AI-powered development tools with experience using or willingness to learn coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex.
• Strong ownership communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to improving quality and testing processes.
