Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of their Global Trade Services platform across multiple countries. This is a significant opportunity to shape how the organisation manages trade compliance export controls and customs operations at scale. If you have 6-8 years of project management experience and a track record of delivering complex multi-country implementations this role offers the chance to make a real impact on the business.

Position Overview

As Project Manager you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a greenfield Global Trade Services implementation leveraging proven compliance frameworks and design principles. Youll manage the configuration of independent trade compliance processes and controls oversee integration with external enterprise systems and orchestrate a complex multi-country roll-out whilst maintaining global compliance standards. This role is critical to ensuring the organisation can operate seamlessly across borders meet regulatory requirements and avoid business disruption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the Global Trade Services greenfield implementation adapting proven compliance frameworks to meet specific business needs
  • Configure independent trade compliance processes and controls aligned with global trade requirements and regulatory obligations
  • Manage integration with external systems including enterprise resource planning and customs platforms to ensure seamless data flow
  • Plan and execute multi-country roll-out balancing local regulatory requirements with global compliance consistency
  • Establish clear project governance manage budget and timeline and identify and mitigate risks including regulatory gaps and integration issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across trade compliance IT and operations to align on delivery priorities
  • Lead change management activities and coordinate user training programmes across all regions
  • Ensure implemented processes are scalable audit-ready and fully compliant with export control and customs regulations post-launch

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of project management experience ideally in trade compliance global trade services or customs operations
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex multi-country implementations
  • Strong understanding of trade compliance frameworks export controls and customs regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage integration with enterprise systems and external platforms
  • Experience establishing project governance managing budgets and mitigating delivery risks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead change management and coordinate training across multiple regions and teams
  • Strong business analysis and process configuration capabilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
