Platform Engineer 1

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining environments collaborating with developers to resolve issues executing modernization tasks and debugging low-level problems. 

Key responsibilities:

• Setting up new and maintaining existing environments
• Collaborating with developers on resolving issues
• Executing modernization tasks
• Debugging low-level problems
• Working with documentation
• Improving existing and preparing new processes
• Automating repeatable tasks with scripts
• Participating in rotated on-call activities. 

Qualifications :

Must have requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux operating systems
• Strong scripting skills with Bash
• Experience with version control systems particularly Git
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP routing firewalls DNS DHCP and BGP
• Experience with containerization and bare metal servers including tools like Tomcat and Nginx
• Expertise in high availability systems including HAProxy and IPVS
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with and create comprehensive documentation
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish (minimum B2 level) both written and spoken.

Nice to have requirements:

• RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) certifications
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certifications
• LPIC-2 (Linux Professional Institute Certification) certifications
• Proficiency in Perl or Python scripting languages
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Familiarity with ELK stack (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana) for logs and traces
• Experience with GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment
• Knowledge of alerting and monitoring tools like Alertmanager and CheckMK
• Experience with databases such as MariaDB and Redis.

Hybrid work model: 3 days from the office 2 days of home office.
