Payroll Coordinator
Job Summary
CMC Markets is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support the accurate and timely delivery of UK payroll benefits and employee share scheme administration.
Working closely with HR Finance employees and third-party providers you will help ensure payroll is processed accurately reconciliations are completed within agreed deadlines and employees receive a high-quality responsive service.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll:
- Coordinate payroll inputs and support payroll submissions for the UK.
- Complete payroll input output and variance reconciliations investigating discrepancies where required.
- Prepare payroll journals and supporting documentation for review and approval.
- Respond promptly to payroll queries from employees HR Finance and external providers.
- Prepare reports reconciliations and documentation for internal and external audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant controls policies and procedures.
Benefits and share schemes:
- Support the administration of the Flexible Benefits programme including new-joiner enrolments and monthly processing.
- Reconcile pension contributions against provider invoices and direct debits.
- Prepare management information for benefit providers within agreed deadlines.
- Support the processing and reconciliation of benefit provider invoices.
- Maintain accurate records for Season Ticket Loans and other employee loans.
- Support the administration of employee share schemes and ensure payroll reporting requirements are accurately communicated and processed.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in payroll administration ideally UK payroll.
- Experience working with a third-party payroll provider.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work under pressure manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organisation problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
- A collaborative customer-focused approach.
- The ability to handle confidential payroll benefits and employee information with discretion.
