Department Overview
Job Description
The Instructional Designer owns the Portfolio management of the training technology portfolio within their technology track and are the key contact for the technology. They understand the businesses and technologies they support and are considered the learning content experts for their businesses. They interact on a weekly basis and work closely with the product leadership teams (PLTs) regions product managers and engineering teams and interact with all audience based learning leads to ensure their learning needs are reflected in the product program releases and business goals are met.
The Instructional Designer analyzes validates all requirements submitted for creation or update for their portfolio. They drive in partnership with program managers and content development resources to ensure that learning assets meet both global and regional requirements.
The Instructional Designer performs the design role in all projects in their track working with SMEs and engineering to create a DDD to final approval stage before passing this on to the development team and is also responsible for providing metrics technology roadmaps skills matrices and proactively supports all learning initiatives.
Basic Requirements

Bachelors degree in Arts Graphic Design Education Computer Science Software Engineering or similar
1-3 years of experience in graphic design instructional design learning experience design or digital learning roles.
Natural graphic and multimedia design sensibilities layout style color typography etc.
Ability to demonstrate and justify project-level portfolio during the interview
Demonstrated experience developing eLearning with tools such as Articulate Storyline Rise Adobe Creative Cloud and Camtasia.
Good English skills
