Theyre seeking an experienced DevOps Expert to join their STP tribe in Krakow. This is an opportunity to lead technical strategy mentor talented engineers and drive meaningful change during a pivotal transformation period. Youll work within a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly influence technology direction and operational excellence.

Position Overview

As DevOps Expert youll provide technical leadership across the STP tribe which manages the communication layer for messaging and file transfers. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership requiring you to guide teams through DevOps adoption while maintaining robust secure infrastructure. Youll play a central role in preparing for and executing next years major cloud migration ensuring the organisations critical services remain secure and highly available throughout this transition.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and occasionally lead strategic discussions across IT and DevOps divisions
• Align DevOps initiatives with broader business and technology objectives
• Lead coach and mentor DevOps engineers within the STP tribe
• Define document and promote DevOps best practices across automation CI/CD and infrastructure
• Oversee design implementation and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Lead design and management of cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Ensure robust monitoring incident response and root cause analysis processes
• Act as trusted advisor translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Define and track KPIs and metrics for DevOps initiatives
• Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows and ensure compliance
• Facilitate cross-team discussions to share insights surface risks and align priorities
• Build a strong DevOps community and support adoption of new tools

Requirements

• 8-10 years of relevant technical experience
• Strong experience implementing DevOps practices using Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes and Helm in production environments
• Solid understanding build practices and containerisation
• Experience designing managing and optimising CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop engineering teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience integrating security and compliance into DevOps workflows
• Track record of defining and measuring DevOps KPIs and metrics
• Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and scalability
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation frameworks
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
