They are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their team in Warsaw on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to work with Azure-based data platforms building scalable solutions that support critical business operations.
Position Overview
As a Data Engineer youll play a key role in designing developing and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. Youll work with Azure Data Factory Databricks and other cloud technologies to build reliable scalable data infrastructure. Your work will directly support data-driven decision-making across the organisation ensuring data is accessible accurate and actionable for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
Build and maintain data solutions using Databricks and PySpark
Develop and optimise SQL queries for data transformation and analysis
Implement SSIS packages for data integration workflows
Apply data warehousing concepts including Medallion architecture and Fact-Dimension modelling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
Maintain and improve existing data infrastructure and processes
Document technical solutions and share knowledge with team members
Requirements
6 years of experience as a Data Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
Proven experience working with Databricks and PySpark
Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimisation
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts including Medallion architecture and Fact-Dimension modelling
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Knowledge of the supply chain domain (desirable)
Team player with a collaborative mindset (desirable)
