Job Summary:
The Work Placement & Migration Specialist is responsible for strategically managing the placement and migration of work across Global Shared Services Centre (GSC) locations ensuring alignment with service delivery models operational efficiency and compliance with established principles and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all new work and offshoring initiatives including new work transitions and 1:1 transfers for accounts within the assigned geographical scope business scale and impact area bridging sales and operational activities to ensure the smooth transition of new or additional business into the organization.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor and report compliance with work placement standards and decisions.
Lead the migration of work based on the service catalogue ensuring consistency recording exceptions and reducing fragmentation.
Make informed decisions on work placement within the GSC balancing strategic priorities capabilities and compliance requirements.
Define work scope and assess the appropriate placement of tasks.
Evaluate FTE requirements based on standard guidelines and principles.
Ensure effective communication among internal teams and external stakeholders.
a strong analytical mindset to support decision-making and problem-solving.
Lead planning and reporting activities related to work placement and migration initiatives.
GSC Execution Team CI HR BPM AI BDI and Projects teams.
Area CI Manager.
Area CX Managers and Directors.
Program Manager.
CIM and SDD.
Qualifications Experience & Skills:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Transition Management Migrations and Project Management.
Experience leading large transition projects involving 150 FTEs or more.
Strong project management skills and experience managing complex and dynamic transition projects.
PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification is required. Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
Experience working in a global business environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
Comfortable engaging with senior management and participating in challenging discussions.
Passion for driving customer experience and client centricity.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills and strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to multitask manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment and effectively handle challenges.
Business / Technical Knowledge:
Certified project management expertise.
Strong experience in managing diverse senior stakeholders with a diplomatic approach.
Experience handling large-scale work migration projects.
Experience in solution design.
Understanding of process modeling.
Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
Knowledge of the logistics and services industry.
