Job Summary
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
ORT / Qualification tests
- Continues ensure that the reliability of products is well maintained as when it is originally qualified. Select representative product PNs from family and provide ORT plan
- Lead ORT samples collection and tests. Work with product engineers. Ensure ORT samples can be collected for each planed PN on time
- Responsible for the execution of tests and monitor progress of reliability and qualification program
- Take the lead for related data collection and analysis and then produce formal qualification reports for customers
- Follow up product reliability issues from beginning to closed make sure that product reliability issue can be solved on time
NPI projects
- Core member in NPI projects provide professional input for the de-risk experiments
- Qualification test plan and reliability test requirement. Participate in customer specification and requirements review and then determine relevant reliability test plans based on project needs and be responsible for the execution of tests and monitor progress of reliability and qualification program
- Evaluates analyzes and selects reliable materials and components for new products and technologies
- Take the lead for related data collection and analysis and then produce formal qualification reports for customers
- Follow up product reliability issues from beginning to closing make sure that product reliability issues can be solved on time
- Take the lead for related reliability test data collection and analysis.
FIT
- Collect shipping data and review RMA periodically
- Reliability calculation for field FIT
- Update FIT reports for customers periodically
Failure analysis
- Responsible for investigating product and process failures identifying root causes and driving corrective actions to improve quality reliability and yield.
- Conduct failure analysis through cross-sectional evaluation and external laboratory testing techniques including SEM FTIR and DSC to identify failure mechanisms and determine root causes. Requires strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis methodologies and laboratory characterization tools.
- Analyze failure trends and provide recommendations to improve product reliability yield and quality.
- Interface with customers suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and communicate findings.
- Maintain failure analysis databases and ensure proper documentation of investigations.
Engineering support
- Provide reliability engineering support for customer complain and major manufacturing problem
- As one consultant of product reliability technical for cross function team
- Other jobs allocated by quality manager/director
- Work with cross function team to do continual improvement on reliability test fees
- Work with cross function team to do continual improvement on product reliability
- Do continual improvement for reliability lab management

Education & Experience:
- Graduate of Engineering Course (Electronics or any related field)
- At least 5 years of experience in Semiconductor or Electronics / Optoelectronics Industry.
- Experience on start-up manufacturing set-up.
- 4 years experience with reliability techniques and analysis to qualify product reliability
- Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis
Skills & Other Requirements:
- Mathematical skills. Statistical data analysis. The ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents logarithms quadratic equations and permutations; and the ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution determination of test reliability and validity analysis of variance correlation techniques sampling theory and factor analysis.
- Reasoning ability. The ability to define problems collect and analyze data establish facts and draw valid conclusions interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Evaluates analyzes and selects reliable materials and components for new products and technologies.

- Material Analysis Support
- Able to partake in discussions with key team members from other company locations.
- Able to provide continuous reliability assurance support to the Pump products such as risk assessment for process/ material variation;
- Able to initiate and conduct periodic re-qualification/ORT for Pump products;
- Generate periodic reliability related report such as FIT report and re-qualification report;
- Provide reliability engineering support for customer complaints and major manufacturing problem;
- Ability to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities
- Ability to excel in a cross-organizational cross cultural global team environment
- Handle special assignments promptly and professionally
