About the Role
The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating countertop projects from initiation through completion for our client. This role ensures seamless communication among clients contractors suppliers and internal teams while monitoring schedules budgets and quality standards. The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that countertop projects are delivered on time within scope and with high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day project activities ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule and specifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between clients contractors suppliers and internal teams.
Project Review & Documentation: Review project details drawings and requirements to ensure accuracy before fabrication and installation; ensure project documentation contracts and records are properly maintained and updated.
Scheduling Support: Assist in scheduling site visits measurements fabrication and installation activities.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management and clients.
Material & Subcontractor Tracking: Track material availability deliveries and subcontractor schedules.
Issue Resolution: Address project-related issues RFIs and changes in scope in a timely manner.
Finance Collaboration: Collaborate with the accounting/finance team for billing invoicing and project-related expenses.
Post-Installation Support: Support post-installation reviews and assist in resolving client concerns.
Estimation & Takeoffs: Prepare project estimates and takeoffs from drawings and specifications to support accurate scoping budgeting and material planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Project Management Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field (preferred).
Prior experience coordinating construction interior fit-out or countertop projects is highly desirable.
Knowledge of construction processes materials and project documentation.
Strong organizational multitasking and time management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook); knowledge of project management or design tools (e.g. AutoCAD Bluebeam Moraware/CounterGo) is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Estimation/takeoffs experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Willing and able to work on a permanent NIGHT SHIFT schedule.
