Job Summary

The Policy Admin Assistant provides administrative support to internal and external customers (policyholders partners and distributors) who request for policy admin-related transactions and inquiries. Ensures that customer transactions are done within turnaround time (TAT).


Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensures accurate benefit payouts in accordance with the policy details laws and regulations
  • Assists in resolving benefits-related issues and/or concerns
  • Handling of company initiated and client-initiated disbursement requests such as traditional/variable life withdrawals benefit/maturity and income payout
  • Deals with policyholders and agents (client interfaceoral and listening skills necessary and through correspondence) in response to various policy inquiries and other related transactions.
  • Able to give ready answers to inquiries on products interest rates policy values and other policy information.
  • Knows the processes and systems to be able to handle verification of details responding to questions and clarifications.
  • Collaborates and liaises with Finance to ensure the credit of proceeds to customer within the agreed turn-around time8. Promptly reports any error/issues or concerns that could impact the process and request of the clients
  • Ensure that processes are in accordance with the companys guidelines and procedures.
  • Able to attend to other transactions such as Disbursement Batch processing and Bridger Checking

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in the Life Insurance industry
  • Certificate in Life Insurance or Diploma in Life Insurance would be an advantage
  • Proficient in using MS Office Applications (i.e. Word Excel Power Point)
