Medical A/R Caller
We are looking for a Medical A/R Caller to make outbound calls to collect outstanding balances and follow up on accounts receivable for a medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to patients insurance companies and other relevant parties regarding outstanding balances
- Follow up on unpaid accounts and payment issues
- Communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
- Document call outcomes and follow-up activities
- Maintain accurate A/R records
- Assist with basic medical billing-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in medical billing accounts receivable or a related healthcare role
- Must have clear easily understood spoken English with minimal accent
- Strong telephone communication and follow-up skills
- Basic knowledge of medical billing and A/R processes
- Must be willing to work from 10:00 AM7:00 PM EST
- Must be comfortable starting on a part-time basis
- Experience with Medent and SubQ Docs is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Organized reliable and able to work independently
