Were looking for a motivated positive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing this role youll gain valuable hands-on experience supporting the accounting and financial reporting needs of Australian clients. Youll work closely with experienced accountants while developing your skills in bookkeeping account reconciliations BAS preparation and Australian financial statements.
Youll also have the opportunity to work with leading accounting platforms such as MYOB and Xero while receiving ongoing mentoring and support to help you grow your accounting career.
- Schedule:Monday to Friday 7 AM 4 PM (PH Time)
- Work Set up: Onsite
- Salary range: PHP 30000 - 45000
In this role you will:
- Assist with preparing financial statements BAS IAS and other accounting reports for Australian clients.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable accounts receivable bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Support the preparation and lodgement of BAS and other compliance-related requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records in accounting and practice management systems.
- Assist with data entry reconciliations and reviewing accounts for discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Assist with client queries and provide timely support on accounting-related matters.
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
- Use accounting software such as MYOB and Xero to process transactions maintain records and prepare reports.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
- Follow established accounting processes and procedures while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards and requirements.
Were Looking for Someone Who has:
- Degree or diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Ideally 12 years of experience in accounting bookkeeping or business services preferably supporting Australian clients.
- Exposure to preparing financial statements reconciliations BAS and management accounts is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent work ethic with a proactive reliable and team-oriented approach.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn follow established processes and develop accounting knowledge through ongoing mentoring and support.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance from senior team members.
- Friendly committed adaptable and flexible attitude.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with MYOB and/or Xero is preferred; training will be provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.
