Inventory Control Assistant Manager

• Supervise and develop Inventory Control and Returns staff to ensure productivity accuracy safety and achievement of departmental goals.
• Monitor inventory accuracy cycle counting audits and physical inventory activities.
• Oversee timely and accurate processing of returns and inventory adjustments.
• Identify investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues affecting order allocation processing and shipment.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments corporate teams and distribution center leadership.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on inventory performance audits and operational activities.
• Review and improve inventory control procedures processes and internal checks.
• Provide employee training coaching and development to improve team performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies operational standards and applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Relevant experience in inventory control distribution center operations and returns management.
• Proven supervisory leadership and delegation skills.
• Strong analytical mathematical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High integrity strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhattan or similar platforms.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for extended periods.
