Role Overview
As a Client Policy Analyst - Compensation you will be part of a specialized research team focused on a key area of corporate governance: executive this role you will serve as an internal subject-matter expert for colleagues and an external resource for clients and company representatives. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in compensation practices and governance standards in North America and/or Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
Review SEC filings and proxy statements from publicly traded companies with a focus on executive compensation programs and share-based compensation plans to maintain data integrity.
Train and coach data analysts to deliver quality data to policy analysts.
Act as liaison between data team manager and policy team leaders to complete client deliverables expeditiously.
Review the accuracy in which client voting policies are applied and prepare client summaries explaining results of their voting policies on specific proposals.
Deliver client reports in a timely manner.
Support the broader policy team in data projects as needed.
Communicate with the broader team to explain compensation policies methodologies and analytical outcomes.
Utilize analytical tools models and technology platforms to conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative assessments.
Limited travel internationally and to Manila as needed.
Your Profile
Strong knowledge of executive compensation practices governance trends and related corporate disclosures.
Solid reading comprehension analytical capabilities and familiarity with compensation-related modeling.
Ability to communicate complex compensation concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders across global time zones.
Ability to effectively collaborate with team members spread across Asia and North America.
Comfortable working with analytical tools and compensation-related data models.
Responsibly uses Ai tools for research function balancing human-in-the-lead and human-in-the-loop approaches.
Experience training regional data teams.
Fluent in English as reader writer and speaker.
Professional competency in written Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated familiarity with executive compensation issues and governance norms.
Excellent analytical verbal and written communication skills particularly while working remote.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented remote environment.
High attention to detail accuracy and organization with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English as reader writer and speaker.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 especially Excel.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in executive pay governance research.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally if needed.
Candidate must be able to provide quality internet connectivity on own when working remotely.
Bachelors degree required.
