Accounting Assistant

• Perform daily sales reconciliation investigate variances and perform follow ups on discrepancies
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all cash transactions and completion of bank reconciliations
• Prepare and issue of billing invoices and monitor collections to ensure timely payments from customers/partners
• Process manual store refunds with banks as requested by Exchange and Return department
• Ensure store invoices and petty cash claims are processed accurately and timely with proper application of applicable withholding taxes.
• Support fixed assets management activities including budget tracking and periodic physical inspection
• Ensure all month-end journal entries (e.g. accruals amortization inventory adjustments) related to store operation are recorded timely
• Provide support for accounting and financial related activities including internal and external audits as required
• Maintain and safeguard accounting records manage tax documentation and submit sales reports to tax authorities
• Support the store operations in monitoring and complying with store operating process as well as legal and statutory requirements

Qualifications :

• You have an understanding of store finance operations including receivables payables billing and cash handling.
• You are knowledgeable in financial transaction processes reconciliations and basic financial reporting.
• You have a basic understanding of internal controls compliance requirements and financial documentation standards.
• You are familiar with finance systems and tools including ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• You understand store operations and how finance functions support overall business activities.
• You are aware of local regulatory requirements and corporate documentation standards.
