POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring effective tracking and follow-up of business opportunities across the LATAM region with a particular focus on deals that combine Services and Product offerings. This role serves as a critical link between the Services and Product organizations ensuring seamless coordination and alignment throughout the sales cycle. Additionally the analyst supports the sales teams in the accurate and timely entry of business plans into the pipeline driving data integrity and visibility for leadership decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cross-Business Opportunity Tracking: Monitor and follow up on business opportunities that involve both Services and Product offerings ensuring proper coordination between both organizations throughout the sales cycle.
- Pipeline Plan Entry Support: Support sales teams in the accurate entry and maintenance of business plans in the pipeline (CRM/Salesforce) ensuring data completeness consistency and alignment with business targets.
- Services-Product Linkage Assurance: Act as the liaison between Services and Product sales teams to ensure that combined deals are properly structured tracked and reflected in the pipeline with correct linkages.
- Pipeline Health Monitoring: Track and report on pipeline health metrics for cross-functional deals identifying gaps stalled opportunities or misalignments between Services and Product components.
- Sales Process Compliance: Ensure that sales teams follow established processes and policies for opportunity creation qualification and progression through pipeline stages particularly for bundled Services/Product deals.
- Data Quality & Integrity: Validate and maintain data accuracy in CRM systems ensuring that opportunity records reflect current status correct categorization and proper assignment across business units.
- Reporting & Insights: Generate regular reports and dashboards on cross-business pipeline performance conversion rates and opportunity aging providing actionable insights to the Sales Process Improvement Manager and leadership.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with Sales Directors Account Managers Services Leaders and Product Leaders to align on opportunity status resolve blockers and accelerate deal progression.
- Process Improvement Support: Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies in the pipeline entry and tracking process and propose improvements to streamline workflows and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Forecast Support: Contribute to the monthly forecast process by providing accurate pipeline data for cross-business opportunities supporting risk and upside assessments.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales operations sales support commercial operations or business analysis roles.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- Experience working in cross-functional environments involving multiple business units or product lines.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B manufacturing industrial or technology sectors.
- Understanding of Services and Product sales cycles and how they interconnect.
- Familiarity with pipeline management methodologies and sales KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and patterns in sales data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team coordination.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
- Proactive mindset with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with sales forecasting processes.
- SAP and Oracle experience a plus.
- Fluent English skills required.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Required: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Industrial Engineering Marketing Finance or related field.
- Preferred: Post-graduate studies Sales Commercial Management or related areas
- Plus: Certifications in CRM administration sales operations or process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).
Required Tools / Systems Knowledge:
- Must be up to date on relevant Information Technology tools including but not limited to the full Microsoft Office package (Excel Word PowerPoint Project Visio Outlook).
- Power Business Intelligence (Power BI) for dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Oracle Enterprise Business Suite and/or SAP / Oracle for data extraction and reporting.
- Understanding of database structures cloud environments and data management principles.
