We are seeking an Operator Tooling Specialist to support a governed AI-assisted development model. This role will enable Operations teams to safely build internal tools workflow automations and cloud-based solutions using approved templates and non-production environments.
The position acts as a bridge between Operations IT Data Engineering and Security teams ensuring all deliverables follow governance security SDLC and compliance standards while supporting modernization and migration initiatives in Azure environments.
Experience with SDLC processes CI/CD UAT and release readiness.
Experience with cloud-based or AI-assisted development tools.
Knowledge of secure development practices and sensitive data handling (PHI awareness).
Understanding of Azure AD / Entra ID and access management fundamentals.
Experience working in cloud environments preferably Azure.
Strong communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Ability to work in governance-driven and cross-functional environments.
Nice to Have
Experience with Terraform Azure API Management Defender for Cloud or DevOps tooling.
Experience modernizing legacy workflows and automation processes.
Exposure to healthcare workflows or enterprise governance environments.
Responsibilities
Capture and assess operational requests business needs workflow pain points urgency and data sensitivity.
Map requests to approved Azure-native templates and coordinate with IT Security and Data teams.
Guide users in the safe use of AI-assisted/cloud development tools within governed environments.
Enforce security and governance standards (no secrets PHI exposure or production credentials).
Prepare and validate PR documentation technical documentation UAT materials and release readiness artifacts.
Support CI/CD processes PR reviews automated gates and release coordination.
Assist in workflow migration and modernization initiatives using approved Azure-native templates.
Monitor compliance with SDLC governance and audit requirements.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvements.

rong experience with Azure DevOps (Repos Boards PR workflows pipelines branch policies). Experience with SDLC processes CI/CD UAT and release readiness.
