Web Developer with Ecommerce Expertise

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Webmaster with a strong background in managing live ecommerce websites and extensive knowledge of the printing industry. The role involves overseeing website functionality ensuring server performance and delivering a seamless online ordering experience for customers. The Webmaster will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain and enhance digital platforms that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor server performance to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Configure web servers and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Upload update and maintain web pages with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular checks to verify proper functioning of hardware and software systems.
• Design develop and optimize websites for usability performance and SEO.
• Conduct A/B testing and other performance measures to improve user experience.
• Oversee ecommerce operations including product listings online ordering workflows and customer interface.
• Collaborate with printing industry partners to align online ordering systems with production capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with web standards accessibility guidelines and security protocols.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Web Development or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Webmaster or Website Administrator with a focus on ecommerce platforms.
• Strong background in the printing industry and online ordering systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing live ecommerce websites.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript PHP SQL).
• Experience with CMS and ecommerce platforms (WordPress/WooCommerce Shopify Magento).
• Knowledge of server configuration (Apache Nginx IIS).
• Familiarity with analytics and A/B testing tools (Google Analytics Hotjar Optimizely).
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection standards.
