JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Release Train Engineer embedded in an energetic agile team of Software and QA Engineers you will create software products utilizing state of the art technologies. With your team youll celebrate all the hard work that goes into a successful release to market while gaining first-hand experience in cutting edge lean-agile software development methodologies. Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working in an Agile environment using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Scrum XP Kanban or other scaled Agile model
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
• Facilitation of PI planning SAFe events and even tough conversations amongst senior leaders
• Help the scrum teams achieve delivery acceleration focused on business outcomes by reaching higher levels of scrum maturity.
• Deliver training to all areas of the organization to teach and promote Agile best practices
• Identify escalate and manage risks and dependencies across Teams / ART / Solution train to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
• Apply continuous improvement to increase efficiency of the Agile Release Train (ART) and analyze effectiveness and progress through establishing flow and other metrics.
• Manage and optimize the flow of value through the program and portfolio proactively identifying and resolving impediments and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain metrics and reports using Rally and other tools to track progress identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other ART leaders and stakeholders to strategically plan and coordinate the delivery of value across the program and portfolio.
• Continuously evaluate and refine Agile practices making data-driven recommendations for enhancements and driving adoption of best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SAFe and Agile methodologies providing training guidance and mentorship to the organization as needed.
• Are servant leaders strong communicators and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Ensure that teams have the necessary information to deliver on highest priority roadmap items
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Understand and foster culture of quality throughout the organization
• Are self-motivated and excellent problem-solvers
• Have a bachelors degree in computer science or similar valuable experience.
• Certified SAFe RTE or similar.
• 3 years of experience as a RTE or SAFe Agile coach for Engineering Organizations.
